A-6 Uncle Homer

My first Dear Jane block only 224 to go. I have decided to hand piece this quilt, anyway we will see how it goes. This was really just to have a go at hand piecing as I haven’t done any hand piecing before and I am really pleased with the result. I am yet to decide on the background fabric etc so don’t want to get too far ahead but keen to get started as I still have a few blocks to go.

Heading Outback

We are back from a tour of outback NSW. You can catchup on our trip here at our travel blog. As the boys would be taking along a couple of Lego dudes it was necessary to make each of them a swag to sleep in. A swag is like a canvas bedroll.
